Downer has an opportunity for a Full Time Transport Operator to join our team located in Cairns. Monday – Thursday 6.30am – 3.00pm. Friday 6.30am-1.00pm

Some day-to-day duties will include but not limited to:

Delivery of driver and vehicle services to support Defence Transport requirements & management of Defence fleet vehicles Washing & cleaning of both company and Defence vehicles Assisting with preparation of issue/receipt documentation on Defence loan pool vehicles Delivery and pick up of company/Defence vehicles to and from repair agencies/dealerships Drive courtesy buses/perform courtesy bus service duties ensuring a safe driving service to Defence and civilian customers Perform daily/monthly inspections of company vehicles

ABOUT YOU

Suitability for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory) Must have a current LR (Light Rigid) Licence Must have or ability to obtain a Drivers Authority                High level of understanding and commitment to Zero Harm in the Workplace
