The Transport Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods. \n\nPlan and coordinate transportation operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, overseeing daily activities such as route planning, vehicle maintenance, and management of transport personnel.\nImplement performance metrics to maintain service quality and operational efficiency while supporting and guiding transport supervisors and drivers to promote safety and continuous improvement.\nDevelop transportation strategies that align with company goals and explore new technologies to enhance operational effectiveness.\nManage the transport budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.\nEstablish safety policies to protect all personnel and the public, and collaborate with customer and vendor teams to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.\n\n

\n\nCandidates should have a background in transportation operations or a related field\nHold an International CPC Qualification (essential)\nSuccessful candidates should have experience collaborating with trade unions\nApplicants should demonstrate prior leadership experience.\nHave excellent organisational and problem-solving skills\n\n
