This role is essential to improving the service delivered and financial performance of 2 contracts through the analysis of key metrics and performance measures. To manage multiple teams across contracts to maximise revenue & profits.

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

\n\nTake the Lead: Oversee our daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers\nSupport day to day operations to meet customer KPIs and service level expectations\nSupport site GM & Ops managers with any required tasks and provide cover for them when needed\nProvide European and Worldwide freight forwarding experience/expertise to DSC shipping team and be first contact for any transport tenders to retain business or gain new business.\nSAP / ERP updates and implementation with DHL and across Customer Plants\nTo support contract projects in capturing and providing movement and cost saving data\nIncrease the profitability of the Site Operations\n\n

✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING

\n\nStrong background in Freight or Global Forwarding experience - Essential\nKnowledge of volumetric weight calculations for road & air movements\nInternational Transport / Freight Forwarding Experience\nSAP Experience\nAbility to provide data in clear and concise manor within agreed timescales.\nManagement experience - leading a team\nEuropean Transport Operations\nUnderstanding of UK export market costs.\n\n
