The Global Transport team provides the centre of expertise for the global Transport network.
It sets the strategy, frameworks, guidelines and provides functional expertise in network design across the global supply community and with the logistics community in the regions.
The Global Transport Team has direct responsibility to provide the best service at an optimal cost for all global transport operations.

RESPONSABILITIES
In this role you are working to structurally improve the transportation network by working in multifunctional teams with internal and external counterparts.
You are expected to collaborate and co-create value internally with planning, customer service, finance, distribution centres, factories (mainly co-located in Barcelona hub) and externally with control tower and forwarders.
Your objective will be to deliver continuous improvement activities, lead and execute savings projects and responsible for cost, service, carrier and control tower performance.
Day by day transport execution responsibility is not in direct scope, but this role should enforce standards, providing visibility on variances versus targets and discuss with Carriers on actions to be implemented and escalate if needed.
Your main focus includes:
Responsible for Transportation service performance by monitoring standard KPIs (OTP, OTD, etc.) and drive different actions to provide best-in-class service.
Responsible for Control Tower performance ensuring service is provided at the expected level and implement corrective actions if it is needed.
Responsible for Carrier management performing regular standard reviews to ensure KPI’s are accomplished and implement corrective actions if it is needed.
Responsible for Transportation cost. Lead transport optimization by partnering with Coty stakeholders (Planning, Customer service, DCs, Factories, etc.) and control tower and find structural optimization procedures.
Study and analyse root causes emergencies/process deviations and implement action plan to minimize it
Approve extra costs above defined thresholds and implement action plan to minimize it
Be the 1st level of escalation after the Control Tower, addressing and minimizing escalation to Coty management and providing prompt communication to the stakeholders
Hyper-care critical shipments to ensure maximum visibility and on-time delivery
Execute transportation forecast for upcoming months to be shared with carriers for capacity planning

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As an experienced Transport Manager, you will add value and feel energized from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. You will thrive on ownership and accountability.
Other than that, you will have:
Required educational background: B.Sc. degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, master preferred
+7 Years of operational experience in transportation and/or in freight forwarding companies (preferable in Multinational company and/or in Global forwarding company).
Control Tower and TMS experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and fact-based problem-solving skills
Digital capabilities: advanced knowledge of office tools and basic principle of digital is necessary.
Knowledge of new AI technologies is a plus
Result oriented person, capable of delivering under pressure and managing business autonomously including setting the right priorities
In depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics/transportation processes & current best practices.
Strong team player - able to effectively and proactively act in a complex matrix organization
Innovation skills
Fluent in English, Spanish language is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Flexible working style, hands-on, can-do and proactive approach
