✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

\n\nResponsible for driver and fleet legal compliance during shift in accordance with DHL Asset Management Centre of Excellence standards\nManage Driver performance to identify any major discrepancies in accordance with the Daily Transport Plan\nSafe, legal and efficient execution of transport operations during a duty shift to network SLA's/KPI's\nReview and amend where appropriate daily transport and operational plans\nDaily operations issue management and resolution for transport and with local warehouse\nManagement of short term driver absence and relocation of work\nEnsuring and sampling pre-shift checks (yard checks) and the defect process\nBeing a point of contact and escalation, including for accident and breakdown management, whilst on shift\n\n

\n\nPrevious experience working within a fleet function/Transport environment, managing a team of drivers is essential\nSupervisory skills - managing individual performance/absenteeism/conflict and development\nExceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail\nA hands-on approach, ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges head-on\nAbility to execute site plans efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced automotive environment\nExcellent communications skills - Verbal and written\n\n
