What will you do? Make an impact!

To support the Transport Manager/Department in day to day running of the fleet and assets, undertaking various administrative tasks led by management instruction and ensuring work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.


What you’ll be doing: 

 

•    Administrative Support – Raise purchase orders, update spreadsheets, maintain accurate records, and assist with month-end reporting.
•    Customer & Driver Contact – Handle phone/email queries from customers, liaise with drivers, and provide day-to-day assistance to the Transport Supervisor/ Manager.
•    Fleet Administration – Book vehicle servicing/MOTs, help with route planning, and support invoice queries from the Accounts team.
•    Compliance Assistance – Maintain and update data required for compliance and legal obligations.
•    General Office Duties – Carry out other administrative tasks to support the smooth and efficient running of the transport fleet.

Do you have what it takes?

 

•    Communication & Customer Service – Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, act as the main point of contact, and handle enquiries professionally with internal/external customers and service providers.
•    IT Proficiency – Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP (or similar systems).
•    Organisation & Accuracy – Methodical approach to administration, reporting, and record-keeping with high attention to detail.
•    Teamwork & Initiative – Able to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently, using initiative when required.
•    Adaptability – Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing change effectively.
•    Experience of working in a transport environment would be useful, but not essential.
