Responsibilities include coordinating patient care through all phases of transplantation which include pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative care and follow up. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Coordinates the entry and the integration of patients into the program by facilitating appointments for tests, procedures, and required family services. Coordinates and expedites all BMT protocols and informed consents. + Communicates with cryopreservation laboratory to coordinate bone marrow harvesting, processing, cryopreservation, and reinfusions + Coordinates financial authorizations for BMT care with PFS, Managed Care, and BMT center administration by communication with insurance providers and case managers + Coordinate with blood bank to facilitate designated donor and phereses blood products for the patient + Facilitates patient and family education regarding all aspects of BMT care with assistance of primary care nurse.
