Military encouraged to apply. **Job Description** The purpose of this job is to oversee the transloading of material from railcar to truck using facility equipment which includes both stationary and mobile conveyors and other loading equipment. 1. Load trucks from railcars in yard using mobile equipment (transloaders) 2. Communicate with drivers, the transloading team, and the corporate office about matters relating to the site and overall data 3. Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/ hardware and configuration problems 4. Enter and maintain inventory and activity data into the appropriate system 5. Prepare and forward reports to corporate office, as needed and/or requested 6. Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced 7. Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items, as necessary 8. Receive and inventory any incoming parts and/or supplies; coordinate packing slips with purchase orders 9. Perform duties safely and responsibly while always observing all safety and health rules 10. Complete pre-shift inspections and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and interface with relief operator for any updates, instructions, and changes 11. Proactively maintain good housekeeping practices and preventive maintenance practices on equipment including but not limited to daily inspections, greasing, cleaning, etc. 12. Participate in general training, job specific training and hazardous materials training as required; successfully complete written examinations 13. Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level 14. Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. 15. Complete other duties as assigned by management. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent certificate required + Valid Class A CDL driver’s license with clean driving record required + 1-year experience with transload or material handling operation (bulk carrier or railroad) required **Specialized Knowledge** + Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills required + Strong mechanical aptitude and experience required + Basic electrical aptitude and experience preferred + General knowledge of bulk storage loading racks and automation systems **Competencies** + Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills + Must have team player attitude with high-level of self-motivation requiring minimal supervision. + Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills + Ability to prioritize, execute tasks and meet deadlines + Ability to take initiative and work both independently and with a team + Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels **Travel** Up to 50% travel required **Physical Requirements & Working Conditions** + Ability to sit, stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, pull and push. + Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to varying weather conditions (i.e.: heat, wet, cold, etc.) + Required to wear protective equipment (PPE) such as: hard hats, hearing protection, safety-toe boots, safety glasses, etc + Able to work evenings, weekends and odd hours as needed + Exposure to a variety of weather conditions and temperatures + Work around trucks, trailers and fuel hauling equipment + Able to lift up to 75 Pounds
