Job Description:
The Translation Manager leads, implements and executes all language production projects for translation and localization of assets created and developed by NB headquarter. He/she works in close collaboration with all content creators of global assets as well as with all relevant local functions in Nobel Biocare subsidiary offices. Majority of projects will be for English master content that needs to be translated into various target languages and localized and rolled out to Nobel Biocare markets via the respective channels. The Translation + Localization Manager oversees the translation budget and identifies the need of non-English Nobel Biocare markets and creates respective projects and action plans. He/she supervises all process steps during translation and production of non-English assets and ensures that respective processes are followed.
Main Tasks:
Management of all global translation and localization projects for all channels
Translation and localization demand planning; creation and execution of respective rollout plans
Ensures high quality translations from preferred and contracted LSP and conducts regular business reviews
Management of LSP supplier pool and contacts (incl. supporting procurement department during contracting)
Ensures that all translated assets are reviewed and approved according to respective SOP
Ensures timely implementation of translated and localized content into all channels and media formats
Strict adherence to the company's approved process for creation and publication of customer facing content.
Support user with their Productions in case they face an issue or don’t know how to go about it
Manage the user rights of each user. In case a user’s profile was locked.
Train users on how to use the system according to the SOP 59785 and document the training sessions as well as the access rights.
Create profiles for external users i.e. for vendors to be able to review and approve files.

Relevant university degree, preferably within marketing or linguistics
Fluency in English (verbal and written) / each additional language an advantage
Proven track record of translation and localization management
Ability to influence stakeholders through logical and fact-based reasoning
3+ years working in a language production and localization role
Experience in pharma / med-tech / dental industry an advantage
Experience in sourcing and directing external suppliers and service providers
Broad and deep understanding of all aspects of marketing and sales
