**Position Summary:**
The Transition Excellence PM – Startup, Onboarding & Development Leader - Manufacturing and Distribution will drive process excellence, coordination, planning, and execution of new and existing client transitions, job startups, and early engagements. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure organizational readiness and alignment during transitions, playing a pivotal role in driving and refining practices related to setting up new startups, onboarding and development of new team members.
**Essential Functions**
+ Partner across the ABM network to ensure all key stakeholders are aligned for successful job startups and client transitions within the MND transition excellence team.
+ Work closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and operations leadership to ensure strong organizational plans are in place for new startups, including scoping and grading new jobs and onboarding plans, as early as possible.
+ Travel to key new top client job startups to ensure onboarding and early development processes are effectively and efficiently implemented and optimized.
+ Determine training and development needs required by client, with an aim toward the first 0-6 months of new client engagements.
+ Ensure that HR, talent acquisition, organizational readiness, onboarding and training and development and other "people" processes are considered early and often by key stakeholders inside the company and in MND
+ Work closely with the continuous improvement team to improve key MND startup processes, with a focus on startup setups, onboarding, and training and development, and employee engagement.
+ Collaborate within the Manufacturing and Distribution transition excellence team, other industry group startup teams, and the continuous improvement team to develop best practices and standards for transitions and startups.
+ Engage directly with clients as needed to support HR-related transition processes and expectations.
+ Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of processes within transitions; serve as a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in the transition excellence function.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Operations, onboarding, development or human resources including experience with large transitions, job startups, and organizational readiness.
+ Experience in facilities management, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
+ Experience in process improvement, workforce planning, and talent deployment.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
+ Ability to travel to client sites as needed (up to 50-60%) for job startups and transitions.
+ High level of adaptability, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Master’s degree in operations, business, development or a related field.
+ Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage HR metrics for decision-making.
+ Proven track record of successful project execution in HR transformations or large-scale transitions.
