Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Define business awardedDevelop a transition timeline for both business and systemsCommunicate customer's requirements to managementDocument and implement agreed upon proceduresManage transition resources, scope, schedule and qualityPoint of contact for customer, sales, management, etc.Facilitate the resolution of open issues and minimize riskCommunicate project status to transition team, sponsors and Branch operationsSuccessfully close a transition through a service review (Quality Management Review)Significant travel required. (60 -80% on short notice)

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum 4 years of experience in transportation/logistics fieldBackground in project management or project coordinationStrong understanding of supply chain solutionsAbility to document business process flowsFamiliarity with EDI and its useFour year college degree preferredProblem solving/analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and projectsRecent project management experience (preferable in the logistics industry)Outstanding communication skills including written and presentationExcellent leadership skills including facilitation, motivation, negotiation and team-buildingStrong organizational skills, computer skills and general knowledge of supply chain software
