About this role:
Wells Fargo is looking for an experienced Transfer Pricing Technologist to join the Corporate Tax Department, which consists of six groups providing corporate income tax services to Wells Fargo & Company and its subsidiaries. As part of a growing team of Finance and Accounting professionals, you will play a crucial role in preparing Transfer Pricing compliance reports following OECD and country-specific guidelines. This includes creating Master File, Local File reports, and country-specific related party transaction forms. Your responsibilities will involve gathering and summarizing information and financial data for Transfer Pricing analysis, review, and compliance.

In this role, you will:
Prepare the Transfer Pricing compliance reports in line with OECD and country-specific requirements, including Master File, Local File reports as well as country-specific related party transaction forms.
Collect and summation of information and financial data for Transfer Pricing review, analytics and compliance purposes.
Generate and use of automated technology workflows to support Transfer Pricing reporting and compliance processes.
Support of Wells Fargo’s global Transfer Pricing oversight framework in collaboration with various internal stakeholders.
Support of Wells Fargo’s governance framework to monitor the effective selection, application and documentation of Transfer Pricing policies – including data gathering and analysis, preparation of meeting materials, ongoing project management and tracking of open items.
Work with other corporate teams to support the governance of all aspects that are relevant for Transfer Pricing.
Annual download of Legal Entity Database and other relevant information for Transfer Pricing compliance purposes.
Interaction with other functional groups within the tax department, with Finance and Controllers and with the business units to collect and process accounting and income tax information.
Maintenance of documentation and control evidence supporting internal audits.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in Corporate Tax, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or International Business.
Experience in corporate tax finance.
Knowledge of regulatory reporting.
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles: statutory and GAAP.
Knowledge of banking and/or Financial Services.
Knowledge and understanding of data management concepts, process, and tools.
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) skills.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques.
Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis.
Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Essbase and/or SmartView experience.
Financial services industry experience.
Public accounting and/or Financial Services experience.
Tax qualification.
