The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in driving change by helping to design and implement a new operating model for Transfer Pricing (“TP”) across the end-to-end TP lifecycle in the JM Group, together with supporting all aspects of the Group’s International Tax strategy and operations.
As a Group Transfer Pricing and International Tax Senior Manager, you will help drive our goals by:
Assisting with the end-to-end design, implementation, and governance of the Group’s transfer pricing strategy, ensuring compliance with global TP documentation regulations and collaborating with global Finance teams to operationalise and optimise TP processes.Supporting international tax operations including APAs, MAPs, audits, BEPS Pillar One and Two responses, and provide tax input into M&A, strategic initiatives, and upstream cash repatriation planning.Contributing to tax reporting and compliance by supporting IFRIC 23 schedules, effective tax rate forecasting, ensuring TP matters have been correctly captured in UK tax returns, CbCR, and Pillar 2 reporting, while managing international tax risks and governance frameworks.Acting as a strategic partner across sectors and functions by aligning tax with commercial goals, advising on cross-border structures, legal entity rationalisation, and developing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.The role has the potential to step up to eventually lead on all matters relating to TP, International Tax & Tax Planning.
You will bring a strong track record in transfer pricing and international tax within a complex multinational organisation, whether already working in-house, or looking for a move from practice into industry. You thrive in times of change and uncertainty, working in a dynamic environment. You will have expert knowledge of international tax principles, transfer pricing regulations, tax governance for listed Groups, and a technology-driven mindset for process optimisation.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Professionally qualified (ACA/CTA or equivalent) with strong international tax and transfer pricing experience, deep understanding of UK corporate tax, and proven ability to identify and mitigate tax risks across complex organisations.Demonstrates strong transformation capabilities with experience in process improvement, implementing TP policies, and leveraging tax technology and tools like Excel and PowerPoint to drive operational efficiency.Excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to global, non-tax audiences; strong project manager who can deliver through others while meeting tight deadlines.Commercially minded team player with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across the business without direct authority.Even if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!
