Responsibilities The Opportunity The Process Analytics & Automation team within the Process Excellence & Transformation function is a global team supporting all process transformation, simplification and digitization initiatives. This role will be responsible for guiding the business team to identify automation & simplification opportunities, work with the automation architects to define solutions, manage program and project milestones, manage stakeholder expectations at the sector level and ensure automations are developed in compliance with the governance structure. The business analyst role will • Own the project governance portfolio across all phases of automation & process mining projects and look for opportunities to further mature the governance to new automation tools & technologies and new ways of working • Develop accelerators and templates to aid in the governance of various phases in a project lifecycle • Lead business engagement sessions with business teams to identify process efficiency and simplification initiatives by promoting the integration of appropriate technology into a business process • Liaison with PepsiCo’s cross-sector teams to drive automation opportunity assessment sessions, help identify value potential and gather sponsorship for digitization opportunities • Provide project oversight from demand management to delivery while leading requirement gathering, acceptance criteria, change management phases & business sign offs. • Assess and document automation solutions which include AI, ML, RPA, Chatbots, Microsoft Power Suite products • Develop a network with peer groups across different organizations and collaborate on automation best practices and standards Your Impact As Transf Sr Analyst your scope would consist of: Drive Automation & Process improvement opportunity assessment and value realization – Decision, Execute • Work with Process Transformation and Business teams to conduct automation opportunity assessment sessions and identify potential value. • Lead automation workshops to understand end-to-end processes while identifying automation risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with process automation • Analyze and assess automation & process improvement feasibility, translating business requirements into technical designs • Ensure RPA’s, Chatbots, Power Automate, and PowerApps applications are developed per the published governance frameworks and standards • Support planning and prioritization of deliverables along with managing stakeholder expectations. • Guide customers with value framing and value realization activities in line with the S&T value framework 2. Own project and control governance for automation portfolio- Decision, Execute • Play an overall PM role as needed from project ideation to realization phase • Develop and operationalize a project reporting framework to report risks, achievements, and issues which also includes maintaining a project repository • Coordinate and support change request analysis and implementation, including analysis and evaluation of changes • Control execution and compliance for all activities aligned with time and quality objectives for area of responsibility • Support testing by facilitating the development of RPA test plans, scripts, and procedures, ensuring an appropriate level of testing is executed at each phase and signed off • Oversee test coverage and ensure timely resolution of defects • Coordinate and support end-user manual preparation, training planning, execution, and certification 3. Work independently but also function well within a team of developers to drive cross-functional learning, development and sharing of leading practices – Execute, Consult • Develop strong working relationships with internal partners and both business & technical resources • Collaborate with technical architects & development team members to solution automations • Provide accurate statuses and escalate issues to supervisor 4. Contribute to continuous improvement – Decision, Execute • Leverage analytics to operationalize Automation repository & value reporting • Proactively engage with Process Transformation leads to raising awareness of recent solutions and new offerings • Identify tools to accelerate automation documentation and governance processes • Identify opportunities for replication and reusability of existing logic & technology to drive additional organizational efficiency • Collaborate with other members of the various RPA teams from different sectors and BU’s to share best practices and documentation in accordance with published standards 5. Technical Enablement: • Build, execute and maintain work plans for technology enablement related activities of business automation and process mining projects. • Engage and navigate through multiple IT and business stakeholders for driving work related to provisioning, business applications access, processes, timelines etc. • Lead and provide support for the project management, release management, change management and security assessment related work • Proactively identifies impediments, looks for pragmatic and constructive solutions to mitigate risk • Be a champion for continuous improvement and to drive efficiency Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Experience • 6+ years in Business Analysis, Transformation, or Internal Communications, preferably in a tech-enabled function or digital COE. • Exposure to automation and process mining initiatives, working with cross-functional and global stakeholders. • Proven track record of designing training and communication strategies to support digital and tech transformation. • Exposure to IT/business enablement processes, such as provisioning, application access, and risk/governance frameworks. • Experience leading value realization or performance tracking in collaboration with Finance and operational teams. • Creating and maintaining BI solutions to help businesses make sense of their data using any analytical tools (Power BI, tableau, etc.,) • Project Management Certifications, Agile certifications and experience in Azure DevOps is a plus If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
