Job Description:
This job is responsible for moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including the movement of assets into and out of accounts. Key responsibilities include reconciliation, settlement, and trade and transfer support, and providing quality service and operations support for internal business partners and external clients, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Job expectations include handling in operational processes which may carry medium to high levels of monetary risk and assisting in training less experienced team members.
Specific Job Description:
Solely responsible for the transfer of a Financial Advisor recruits’ book of business from contra firms to Merrill Lynch. TMT Specialists serve as the onsite support, travelling to all Merrill branch offices where needed. They provide direct assistance to newly recruited Financial Advisors and their Client Associates, ensuring they have the resources and guidance necessary for success. They work closely with the Market level leadership team to assist and support their competitive hires’ onboarding of new Clients. This role interacts with multiple partners across Merrill and home office leadership and requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area, products, policies, and guidelines.
