Transaction Excellence Specialist

We are currently seeking a Transaction Excellence Specialist to support the European Order Operations team based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The Order Operations Team is responsible for the support of HQ, Sales and Delivery teams from order-, throughout delivery and revenue recognition process. Defining, implementing and executing efficient processes will be key to enabling smooth order placement, management and rapid deliveries while providing Lucid customers an exceptional luxurious experience.  

 

The responsibilities of the Transaction Excellence Specialist are listed but not limited to lead end-to-end operational excellence across our order-to-delivery lifecycle. This individual will drive process optimization by identifying operational gaps, execute the projects and process improvements within set deadlines, analyze the impact of changes, develop clear instructional guides, and ensure that communication, training, and adoption strategies are executed effectively. A key aspect of this role is to continuously challenge the status quo, measure performance metrics, and deliver data-driven insights. These responsibilities will be performed in a close cross functional collaboration with Inside Sales & Enterprise Sales, Finance, Tax & Accounting, Logistics, Delivery, Service and IT.

 

Responsibilities: 

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, overseeing and resolving all inquiries related to operational processes and project activities to ensure alignment and effective collaboration. Map and analyze the detailed steps of the order-to-delivery lifecycle across various purchase scenarios and system platforms, ensuring process clarity and identifying operational gaps that will translate into projects. Drive the planning, execution, and prioritization of projects within established timelines, while maintaining a clear and up-to-date project portfolio overview for visibility and alignment. Evaluate the impact of operational and system changes on project objectives and monitor post-implementation adoption rates to ensure successful integration and continuous improvement. Develop and continuously update clear instructional guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support the Order Operations team’s activities. Coordinate and deliver targeted training sessions to ensure successful knowledge transfer and readiness across impacted teams. Facilitate timely and effective communication of process updates and changes to all impacted stakeholders. Generate data-driven performance insights for stakeholders by producing regular reports and visual presentations that support strategic decision-making. Continuously challenge existing processes, bringing forward innovative solutions that enhance efficiency while keeping the customer experience in mind. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Inside Sales & Enterprise Sales, Finance, Tax & Accounting, Logistics, Delivery, Service, and IT to align on shared goals and ensure successful execution. Provide operational support to the Order Operations team for ad-hoc initiatives. 

 

Qualifications: 

2+ years of experience in project management and order operations with a good understanding of the end-to-end supply chain flow.    Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Scrum). Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills for effective project management.  Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.  Able to identify, analyze, mitigate potential risks and resolve issues that may arise during a project.  Self-starter mentality and comfortable in working in a high energy, fast-paced environment. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills to keep stakeholders informed and manage expectations.  An additional European language skill such as German or Dutch is considered as a plus.    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), ERP, Salesforce, SAP, Smartsheet and other project tracking tools.   Passion for the customer experience and understanding how operational efficiencies impact said experience. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
