About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transaction Coordinator to join our dynamic team within the Retail division. This role is crucial to supporting our brokers and ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of commercial real estate transactions. The Transaction Coordinator will be responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the deal process, from initial listing to closing, allowing our brokers to focus on client relationships and strategic business development.
Key Responsibilities:
•Transaction Management:
oProvide comprehensive administrative support to brokers and Transaction Managers throughout the transaction lifecycle, including listings, offers, negotiations, and closings.
oSupport tracking lease information, property values, capital expenditures, rental rates, and real estate assignments
oAssist with managing local transaction implementation.
oPrepare and distribute transaction-related documents, including but not limited to: listing agreements, offers, counteroffers, amendments, lease agreements, and closing statements.
oCoordinate and schedule meetings, inspections, and closings.
oTrack and manage critical deadlines and milestones within each transaction.
oProactively identify and address potential issues or delays in the transaction process.
oEnsure compliance with CBRE policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
oPrepare market reports
oSource comparable lease transaction information
•Communication & Coordination:
oServe as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, landlords, tenants, attorneys, title companies, and other vendors.
oCommunicate effectively and professionally with all parties involved in the transaction.
oProvide regular updates to brokers and clients on the status of transactions.
•Administrative Support:
oAssist with general administrative tasks, such as answering phones, managing emails, and preparing correspondence.
oMaintain organized and efficient office systems.
oProvide support for special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
oBachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
oAbility to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
oExperience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
oIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
oIntermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
oExceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
oStrong attention to detail and accuracy.
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
oAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
oStrong problem-solving skills.
oAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
oProfessional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
