Western Secure Treatment Unit (WSTU) is a secure post-adjudication facility that provides comprehensive services to young men (14-21), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a vocational CTE student work training program, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the young men. Pay: $21.63/hour

What you will do:   As the Transitional Aftercare Specialist, you will act as a liaison between Rite of Passage and the Placing Agency. Develops and maintains positive relationships with Placing Agency Client Managers, ROP Case Managers, Career Coordinators and all community –based contacts.  Maintains regular contact with Placing Agency Client Managers to assist in developing parole plans/services, and develops and maintains positive relations with regional career path employers, high schools and colleges.

To be considered you should: Possess a BA/BS in related field  ~ Have prior case management experience, including two years' experience with juveniles ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC for pre-employment), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: 5 Days on, 2 Days off – 40 hours/week.
