The **Georgetown** R&D center is the global technology hub for Corteva’s canola breeding programs with on-site field, greenhouse and lab activities supporting the development of industry leading seed products for various markets. This position will be focused on executing greenhouse experiments with molecular marker selection. **Please note: there is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance provided for this role. **What You'll Do:** + Managing day to day activities for greenhouse projects from planting, sampling, crossing to harvesting + Interpreting molecular marker data + Working effectively with database software to manage projects + Coordinate and manage seasonal workforce to ensure all activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all personnel are properly trained on procedures. + Participate in the improvement of safety programs and protocols (safety, efficiency, effectiveness) specific to direct work environment to identify and communicate potential risks and benefits. + Complete personal development activities as part of a performance management and development plan + Being an active team member within the R&D center to help with other field and greenhouse operations as needed. **What Skills You Need:** + University degree or higher + Strong understanding in interpreting molecular marker data + Good attention to detail + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Quick to learn computer and iPad programs + Ability to work in greenhouse and field environment (temperatures above 30oC) Corteva Agriscience™ is an equal opportunity employer.
