JOB DUTIES

Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.

Conducts orientations and trains new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.

Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.

Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.

Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities and manage the budget set for training.

Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed

Ensure training opportunities are in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Assist in annual surveys/inspections or licensing as requested by the Manager of Organizational Development.

Responsible to maintain organization, order, and cleanliness of all training areas. Responsible to ensure all training resources, materials and equipment (i.e. RQI manikins, equipment, activity materials, and handouts) are available and in working condition.

Maintain and ensure all documentation is collected, filed and organized in accordance to department systems and processes.  Audits documentation to insure compliance and that all records will meet regulatory inspection.

Coordinates scheduling for classes, including Skills Day, SIM Lab, etc.  Prepares signage, posters, handouts, etc. for Skills Day.  Prepares materials and documentation of attendees at Skills Day Stations.  Assists with set up and tear down of skills stations, storage of skills day station materials/posters. 

Assists with CME activities.

Serves as BLS Instructor and HeartCode facilitator; teaches BLS class; assists with HeartCode completion/testing; serves as training center faculty.

Performs other duties as assigned.
