Training Specialist

What does a successful Training Specialist do at Fisrv?

Reporting directly to the Issuer Solutions Client Training Manager, this role will have a significant impact on providing training sessions related to the Fiserv core system and products to our Issuer Solutions clients. The primary focus of the Training Specialist will be to deliver a comprehensive training program tailored specifically for our Issuer clients.

What you will do:

Educate on the technical and functional aspects of the Fiserv system and products.

Design and conduct training sessions for various skill levels. Implement the ‘Train the Trainer’ method for larger groups.

Create high-quality training materials and programs using adult learning principles and effective instructional design techniques.

Stay informed on system and product updates to enhance the training curriculum.

Collaborate on customized training sessions for Issuer clients.

Facilitate training sessions through different mediums such as virtual or in-person sessions at the Omaha location or the client's premises.

Identify and recommend improvements to training methodologies, materials (including detailed objectives, job aids, and potential development outputs), processes, and team procedures.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant content when needed to ensure the success of the training initiatives.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

5 or more years’ experience working in the banking, credit union or financial services industry

2 or more years technical training experience

Bachelor’s degree in Education/Business /Marketing or a related field

Experience in the production and delivery of hands-on training, webinar training, classroom style training, and ‘Train the Trainer’ courses

Experienced in the production and delivery of hands-on training, webinar training, classroom style training, and ‘Train the Trainer’ courses.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

Excellent verbal, written and group interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Experience in adult learning methodologies

2 or more years knowledge of Fiserv core products
