Our Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Training Representative or Principal Training Representative to join our ASTAR (Aeronautics Systems Training for Advanced Refinement) team in Palmdale, CA.
Essential Functions:
Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for the development of e-learning programs.

Basic Qualifications for Training Representative:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Military experience; or Master’s Degree with 0 years of Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Military experience
Experience with industrial equipment (Cranes, forklifts, etc.)
Strong presentation and public speaking skills required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and strong verbal communication skills
Must be a customer-oriented team player, able to interact with staff members in a team environment productively
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance, as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (US Citizenship Required)
The ability to utilize a computer for basic functions (including navigating through windows operating system, getting online, executing online training modules and ability to be trained using on the job software)
Must be willing to work any shift, flexible schedule and adaptable to changing work hours, to support operations (times may vary)
Ability to travel at least 25%
Basic Qualifications for Principal Training Representative:
Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Military experience; or Master’s Degree with 3 years of Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Military experience; or PhD with 1 year of Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Military experience
Experience with industrial equipment (Cranes, forklifts, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD secret clearance with an investigation date/periodic review within the last 5 years
Active Program Access
Knowledge of one or more discipline Structures, Composites, Paint, and Hydraulics systems
Experience working with government customers
Experience in/familiarity with training systems or programs
Knowledge of compliance audit processes and procedures
Salary Range: $67,100.00 - $100,700.00Salary Range 2: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
