Training Manager - Crawler Cranes & Foundation Equipment

 

The Training Manager manages, designs, develops, creates, and presents both classroom and On-the- Job Training classes while evaluating training courses and materials.

Responsibilities Manages, establishes, maintains, and updates training programs and materials for the Liebherr Nenzing Crane Co. (LNC) product lines, and establishes and maintains technical training related materials. Sets-up training classrooms; prepares class materials; oversees and assists students with concepts, assignments and class projects as necessary. Sets-up on site training including commissioning and hand over of new machines Identifies and plans appropriate instructional design strategies and objectives based on analysis of tasks, learners, and subject matter. Manages and develops technical training courses and related materials such as workbooks, manuals, and instructor guides. Manages and implements training evaluation strategies and instruments. Provides students with special individualized instruction as required. Conducts training needs, analyses and determines performance criteria. Creates, maintains and coordinates distribution of a yearly training plan Oversees invoicing. Responsible for the necessary infrastructure for the training department Responsible for readiness and maintenance of simulators Establish, maintain, update ITM specific training courses (ITM has become a “Product” of LWN now) Follow up on finical issues such as profits, costs, assets and investments. Budgets and Plans turnover, costs and performance targets Monitors debtor accounts and ensures active collection of outstanding invoices together with accounting department. Responsible for quotations for training Responsible for all aspects of personnel management to include, but not limited to: hiring, evaluation, and discipline of training personnel (once this becomes relevant). Ensures compliance with all approval and signature regulations. Ensures compliance with all rules applying to internal software, ensuring that all system software are implemented, utilized and used according to local policies as well as MSC and SOG. Assist the company in any necessary duties to achieve company goals. Perform other related duties as assigned. Coordinate resolutions between customer and customers service as required or requested for issues presented by customer when performing on-site customer training. Answer service/technical phone calls from customers and Liebherr technicians and provide technical support. Competencies Education and Experience: Associate Degree in relevant area or equivalent education and experience. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of technical training of hydraulic crawler and duty cycle cranes. Must have advanced knowledge in DC and AC electric circuits. Must have advanced knowledge of diesel engine concepts and operation, as well as the associated service and troubleshooting. Must be familiar with federal emission requirements for off-road diesel engines. Must have advanced knowledge of hydraulic pumps and motors and other mechanical components. Must have advanced knowledge of drilling and piling rigs, vibratory & hydraulic impact hammers, casing oscillators and drilling equipment attachments. Travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.   Our Offer
