About This Role
Join our Business Aviation Training Centre in Vienna (Schwechat) as Training Manager where you’ll be part of our global Business Aviation Training and leadership team.
We have just opened the doors to our newest business aviation training centre in Vienna, Austria. CAE will initially operate five state-of the-art Full Flight Simulators in Vienna, including the G550, PH100/300, Global 7500, and a Global 6000 Vision Full Flight Simulators for business jets from leading manufacturers. The new 8,000-square-metre facility will have space for expansion with a capacity for up to nine Full Flight Simulators and will be purpose-built to deliver the most advanced pilot training experience in Central Europe.
This role has a key focus on leadership responsibilities managing, motivating and guiding a team of approximately 40 Synthetic Flight Instructor. We would like to hear about your recent leadership experience with your application and would appreciate a cover letter with your CV.

The role we are offering you:
Be responsible for the overall supervision and delivery of flight training activities in the assigned fleet(s)Be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ground and flight training in assigned classrooms and aircraft simulatorsMaintain contact with Account Executives, Scheduling, Regulatory and Standards to facilitate seamless delivery of trainingEnsure quarterly Standards meetings are held to continuously improve the standardization of instructors and ensure compliance within the networkDevelop and monitor instructor training plansLiaise with Technical Services and Fleet Chiefs to ensure simulator data is current and that simulators contain all customer required materialDevelop the annual client course training plan and course schedules based upon Sales projectionsManage resources to meet or exceed the required number of training eventsUpdate instructor HR profiles to include compensation changes, allowances, transfers, promotions and leaves of absenceCreate, maintain, and nurture a close relationship with the Training Center’s primary customers’ flight operations and training departmentsOur ideal candidate has:
EASA ATPL License required (valid or was valid within the last 7 years)Additional experience desired: FAA, GCAA, GACA, CAAC and other aviation regulators and regulationsPrevious experience as an Instructor, or equivalentAbility to focus and work in a fast paced 24/7 environmentReadily accepts change and adjusts accordinglyMaintains concentrated customer/client orientationExperience managing teamsLocation:
