Training Coordinator - Day Shift

We are looking for a detail oriented and enthusiastic self-starter who can provide a warm welcome to new hires joining Wayfair as well as provide training to employees at all levels across the Supply Chain. The candidate is a collaborative team player who provides program support in a fast-paced, rapidly challenging, and fluid environment. What You'll Do + Facilitate New Hire onboarding for all new hires + This is not a desk job, the job requires regular time on the warehouse floor to deliver hands-on training, observe processes, and support operations as needed + Lead and educate employees on safety protocols and best practices during new hire tours. + Ensure completion of all new hire tasks during onboarding + Administer and support the onsite new hire drug testing process + Record, track, and help drive compliance of onsite training through Learning Management System + Support onsite process training and help drive completion compliance + Create and send written communications for the site leadership team + Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions as needed to support onboarding, process and career development programs. + Organize and lead Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) training sessions, including both classroom and hands-on instruction. + Facilitate PIV Theory and Practical Classes & ensure all operators are properly certified and compliant with company and OSHA standards. + Promote and monitor employee engagement in Axonify training programs. + Track completion and certification status, providing reminders and follow-ups as needed. + Assist with operational tasks during peak periods or staffing shortages. + Flexibility to support with different scheduled training and timing What You’ll Need + 1+ years of in Training, Learning & Development and/or Organizational Leadership required + Experience in Operations or Supply Chain preferred + Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively facilitate new hire onboarding + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Adaptability and an ability to navigate change effectively + Basic computer skills, such as Google Slides or Google Sheet reporting + Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. and moving product up to 150 lbs. using appropriate material handling equipment when supporting operational needs Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Wayfair is fully committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals, including individuals with disabilities.
