LOCATION: This position is an onsite role, based in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Clif Bar Plant.

Role models values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of line team. 

Responsibilities & Outcomes: 

Ensure personal safety, food safety, and quality protocols are followed. 

Work with support teams to validate skill requirements for identified roles. 

Support the training, planning, and execution aligned with business priorities to progress into self-sufficient teams. 

Monitor training effectiveness: provide feedback on issues and opportunities and recommend/conduct improvements.  

Assist in development and execution of E&T Pillar work processes.

Provide monthly reports, Key Performance Information (KPIs) on E&T delivery. 

Partner with operators and other departments to develop trainings on specific equipment and/or processes.  

Support/facilitation of on-the-floor training activities. 

Support new hire onboarding process. 

Support training specialists to overcome challenges in bridging skills gaps. 

Support standardization of work. 

Support E&T pillar in tracking losses and identifying improvement opportunities. 

Support all IL6S pillars. 

Attends production/DMS and other meetings, as required. 

Be available to work shifts, day, night, or swing with the flexibility to work other times as needed. 

Perform all other related duties as requested.

Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook calendar and email management, written and oral communication skills.

Be flexible and available to interact and connect with people at all levels in the organization with a proven record as a trusted, credible training partner with ability to engage, inspire, and influence people. 

Interpersonal savvy, planning, and dealing with ambiguity.

Basic facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to relate to people in all parts of the plant and organization. 

Culture: Employee & Stakeholder Centricity and Culture Champion. 

A “boots” on the ground approach with training and development.  

High School diploma or equivalent.  

Experience facilitating training plus.  

Experience working with Lean Six Sigma to drive high performance. 

Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment a plus.  

Bilingual in Burmese or Spanish is preferred but not required.

The hourly wage for this position is $27.87/hr. Benefits beginning 1st of the month following 30 days of employment include: Medical, Dental, Vision and Wellness Program.
