Training Coordinator
Adecco is seeking a Training Coordinator for a client based in Newak NJ for their continuing education department. Job details are below. Apply today for immediate consideration! Job title: Training Coordinator Hours: 24 -32 hours per week (will work Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) some Thursdays plus 1 weekend in a month. Weekend hours will be communicated ahead of time. Pay rate: $25/hr - $27/hr (depending on experience) Location: 110 Bergen Street, Newark NJ Department: Continuing Education Duration: August 15, 2025 – November 30, 2025 (extension is possible) Duties: **SUMMARY** **:** **_(Basic purpose of the job)_** · Provides secretarial and administrative services to the department, such as answering phones and assisting visitors including faculty, staff and students in a prompt and courteous manner and refers them to appropriate areas or persons. + Provides high level confidential, secretarial services and assistance with the administrative activities of the department. + Composes correspondence for signature using templates. Uses various PC software packages such as Microsoft Word, etc. + Xeroxes, collates and distributes materials for lecturers, meetings and conferences. + Coordinates meeting/conference and room facilities for courses and catering for various other meetings using in-house and outside caterers. + Distributes and monitors monthly radiation safety badges. + Makes travel arrangements, compiles documents for travel related meeting. Submits vouchers for reimbursement. + Tracks department’s purchase requisitions in the system, as well as expediting and obtaining, check request, petty cash, travel requests, supplies (in-house and outside vendors) etc. as needed. + Responsible for the accurate record keeping of departmental bi-weekly staff time and attendance as well as distribution of payroll checks. + Sorts and routes incoming mail. + Other duties as assigned **Pay Details:** $25.00 to $27.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
