Job Title: Training Coordinator

Location: Tanga, Tanzania
Job Type: 12-month contract (renewable)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Training Coordinator to support a major cross-border crude oil pipeline project in East Africa. The Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the training and competency framework for approximately 150 Field Operations personnel, ensuring full compliance with operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain an annual training plan and budget. Develop a role-specific training matrix based on job functions and responsibilities. Identify competency gaps and propose targeted training programs. Coordinate and schedule internal and external training sessions. Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of the Operator Training Simulator (OTS). Maintain a competence management system with accurate training records. Audit training providers to ensure quality, compliance, and effectiveness. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (minimum). At least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or related industries. Minimum 5 years in a training role. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Experience managing training programs and working with technical teams.
