Job Title: Trainer – Onboarding Specialist

We’re looking for a Trainer – Onboarding Specialist to play a vital role in welcoming and preparing new team members across all departments. You will ensure employees receive the training, resources, and support needed to succeed—safely, efficiently, and in alignment with our company’s high standards.
What You’ll DoLead New Hire Orientation (NHO): Introduce employees to company policies, safety procedures, job expectations, and our culture.
Execute Structured Onboarding Plans: Deliver job-specific training and hands-on modules in collaboration with Training Representatives (TRMs).
Track and Document Progress: Maintain accurate records, conduct weekly check-ins, and escalate training gaps to the Training Manager.
Coordinate Training Logistics: Schedule rooms, prep materials, and communicate with facilitators and attendees.
Maintain Training Records: Keep training trackers up to date across Excel, SharePoint, and other systems—both digitally and physically.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with HR, Safety, Operations, and Production to align training with departmental needs.
Support Training Materials Development: Assist in creating engaging PowerPoint presentations and clear documentation in Word.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and suggest enhancements to elevate the onboarding experience.
What You’ll BringExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
Excel: Data entry, formulas, pivot tables, and trackers
PowerPoint: Building and delivering presentations
Word: Document creation and formatting
Experience with SharePoint for document management
Accuracy and attention to detail in recordkeeping
Ability to manage multiple training trackers and logs
A collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally
Comfort and confidence working on the production floor during hands-on training
Familiarity with adult learning principles and training best practices
Professional discretion when handling confidential employee information
