KBR is seeking a Training and Operations Support Team Member who will be responsible for representing the Space Domain Characterization Control System (SDCCS) at Headquarters United States Space Command (USSPACECOM), located at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The position’s roles and function would include acting as the SDCCS operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of USSPACECOM training, products, visualizations, and briefings and providing SDCCS troubleshooting and incident resolution for USSPACECOM operations; performing SDCCS authoring and customizations for USSPACECOM operational needs including providing real-time configuration changes as well as enhancing exercise and mission rehearsal planning, execution, and after action reporting for SDCCS related activities; and representing SDCCS in internal and external operational integration meetings. Applicants must be self-motivated, team-oriented, able to adapt to dynamic environments, and work with personnel from other organizations and companies.
Positional Responsibilities:
Assist the USG with planning, coordination, briefing and execution of training and exercises in support of theater and global space operations.
Attend coordination and planning meetings and conduct review of desired learning objectives and participant supporting capabilities.
Plan and execute SDCCS training sessions for USSPACECOM and other SDCCS operators.
Coordinate with USSPACECOM elements and support organizations during planning and execution.
Monitor proper use and function of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS).
Ensure that local training regulations and applicable safety standards are followed by training unit.
Requirements:
Proven experience in teaching within classroom environments, delivering instruction to adult learners across various methodologies such as Microsoft tools, On-The-Job-Training (OJT), simulators, and so forth.
Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a technical or software-related field, with a focus on adult learning principles and diverse learning styles.
Proficiency in creating training materials using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adaptability to other emerging tool suites.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing training-related challenges.
Self-motivation with a collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively independently and within a team environment.
Basic understanding of Information Technology (IT) support principles, particularly in administering software tools.
Understanding of the basics of astrodynamics or orbital mechanics.
5 years of training and exercise support and/or space operations experience
Bachelor’s Degree. Associate’s degree considered.
Must be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Experience with space domain awareness tools.
Experience as an Orbital analyst.
Active Top-Secret clearance.
Basic Compensation:
$86-128k
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
