To tailor materials and training based on clients’ needs and goals. **ARE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE?** We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative project manager and training specialist with direct experience in law enforcement and risk management. Expertise in use-of-force law and de-escalation training is highly preferred. A degree in criminal justice is a plus. Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time. This role is open to a remote setting within California. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Partners with new and existing clients in identifying exposures in the area of law enforcement and assessing their business training needs. + Identifies present and future training opportunities and advises clients on recommendations. + Develops and manages detailed project plans from inception to conclusion, monitors and tracks progress, reports to management as needed, and involves relevant stakeholders. + Delivers client leadership and management training through instructor-led live sessions and webinars to police departments, officers, and other stakeholders; serves as a subject matter expert on enforcement operations, including relevant statutes, standards, guidelines, and requirements. + Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of curriculum by deploying measurement tools that tracks outcomes to ensure alignment of material being presented. + Schedules and coordinates duties associated with regularly scheduled sessions as well ad-hoc requests. + Markets training products and services to Pooling Clients. **ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Performs other duties as assigned. + Travels as required. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education & Licensing** Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. **Experience** Six (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of two (2) years training or directly related experience required to include classroom and webinar facilitation. Minimum of two (2) years equivalent knowledge of state and federal employment law is highly preferred. **Skills & Knowledge** + Ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations, with instructional handouts based on existing and researched topics, driven by member need + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations + Ability to work under pressure to meet billable requirements. + Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals + Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public + Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills + PC literate, including Microsoft Office products + Analytical and interpretive skills + Strong organizational skills + Excellent interpersonal skills + Excellent negotiating skills + Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports + Ability to work in a team environment + Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies **WORK ENVIRONMENT** When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations. **Mental** **:** Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines **Physical** **:** Computer keyboarding, travel as required. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is _$95,000.00 to $120,000.00 USD annual salary_ . Bonus eligible role.
