Training Administrator

Based at our Subiaco head office, this role is critical in supporting the Training Management and onboarding processes across our mining projects.

This role requires someone who has a positive attitude towards safety, training & environment, great communication and organisational skills, attention to detail with an emphasis on teamwork.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Training & Development Manager – Mining Services based in the Subiaco Head Office, this role will be responsible for assisting the Training & Development Manager in maintaining compliance for training and general training support for the Mining Services projects, and coordinate onboarding and inductions for all Mining Services personnel.

This position will also be responsible for the continuous improvement and ongoing contribution to achieving company goals and objectives through quality and compliance relating to its mining operations.

 Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and Maintain SRGs Training Management System.     Manage External Course Bookings. Coordinate onboarding of new starters inductions and training. Ordering and managing new starter clothing & PPE. Compiling project training reports. Assisting the Training & Development Manager on other training and associated responsibilities.

The successful applicant will have:

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Certificate III or higher of academic qualification i.e., administration, business or training. Proficient reading and writing skills. Attention to detail. Flexible approach to work activities. Able to integrate with a highly motivated team. Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Desirables:

Previous training or administration background in a similar role. Local to Subiaco or surrounding areas.
