Our Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a **Trainer Production 3** to join our ASTAR (Aeronautics Systems Training for Advanced Refinement) team in **Iuka, Ms.**
**Essential Functions:**
Performs on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas. Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma & 4 years of additional relevant experience in either electrical, systems, hydraulic or composite work
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance, as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (US Citizenship Required)
+ The ability to utilize a computer for basic functions (including navigating through windows operating system, getting online, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, executing online training modules and ability to be trained using on the job software)
+ Strong presentation and public speaking skills required
+ Ability to be a team player by productively interacting with staff members in a team environment
+ The ability to utilize a computer for basic functions (including navigating through windows operating system, getting online, executing online training modules and ability to be trained using on the job software)
+ Must be willing to work any shift, flexible schedule and adaptable to changing work hours, to support operations (times may vary)
+ Ability to travel at least 10%
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Active DoD secret clearance with an investigation date/periodic review within the last 5 years
+ Active Program Access
+ Strong verbal communication skills
+ Knowledge of one or more discipline Aircraft Structures, Composites, Paint, Electrical, and Hydraulics systems
+ Experience working with government customers
+ Experience in/familiarity with training systems or programs
Primary Level Salary Range: $44,500.00 - $74,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
