Trainer and Maintainer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Trainer and Maintainer** to join our vehicle sustainment team in **Djibouti** . The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
+ Develop course curriculum, develop training modules and instructional materials for technical training programs.
+ Coordinates class arrangements, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating training effectiveness.
+ Assess needs to determine training material content.
+ Keeps abreast of information technology training needs, trends, methods, new materials and techniques.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Minimum Qualifications** :
+ 4+ years of qualified instructor experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (OR) 6+ years of qualified instructor experience and an associate degree in a related field (OR) 9+ years of qualified instructor experience.Must have TRADOC approved Army Instructor training course (Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS), Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC)) or TRADOC equivalent certification.
+ Proven maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.
+ Experience in providing instruction and training and ability to develop course curriculum.
+ Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a U.S. Passport valid for at least two years beyond the start date.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferable.
+ Willingness to accept both temporary and permanent CONUS & OCONUS transfers to other assignments if needed.
+ Experience with maintaining and the operation of the CROWS system.
+ Ability to deploy to risky hostile environments if required.
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
+ Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
+ Must be able to work in high noise areas.
+ Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
+ Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
