Due to growth, we are adding Benefit Configuration Trainer to our team!
This position ensures efforts are in alignment with the Claim Adjudication Operations (CAO) team to leverage technology and process improvement for the purpose of meeting the business needs of Navitus customers, clients, members and pharmacies by accurately administering benefits. The Trainer, Benefit Configuration facilitates and completes the new hire training program within CAO. This position requires knowledge of both the technical and operational sides of the business utilizing Navitus’ adjudication system and other applications. The Trainer, Benefit Configuration will closely collaborate with CAO coaches and benefit configuration analysts and testers. This position will ensure CAO is able to provide a versatile training program that encompasses the continuous changes in the pharmacy benefit industry.
This position may include after-hour and/or weekend hours with other eligible team members depending on workload.

Leads foundational training including scheduling, overview, presentation, assessment, documentation, peer review and oversight for configuration of the claims adjudication platformAcquires and maintains an intermediate to advanced level of knowledge and interpretation of multiple adjudication system screens and functions on a field-by-field level to train both standard and custom configurations to meet client expectationsRecommends, creates and maintains training documents such as visuals and practice examplesCollaborates with leaders, coaches and/or peers throughout foundational trainingAdapts to industry changes and evolving technology, maintaining an intermediate to advanced level of understanding of both legacy and emerging products and systemsFunctions as a subject matter expert (SME), the main source of contact and lead mentor for peers within foundation trainingContributes toward departmental performance and service level guarantees and achieves individual, departmental and corporate performance goals around accuracy and timelinessMaintains up-to-date knowledge of all departmental formulary management, workflow management, issue resolution and reporting toolsComplies with standards set forth regarding benefit design and configuration including HIPAA, NCPDP and Navitus internal business standardsOther duties as assigned QualificationsWhat our team expects from you?
Associate degree or equivalent work experience required2 years’ experience in benefit configuration and/or benefit configuration testing or system trainingExperience with these additional applications at an intermediate to advanced level: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employeesWhat can you expect from Navitus?
