Train Control Engineer
Job location: Turin area
The selected resource - acting as part of a team aimed to give engineering support to a Train Control Dept. within a complex, structured environment with high pitched technological standards - will be responsible for following activities:
Job Responsibilities:
He/She will be involved in the following duties:
• Perform control engineering activities for one or several functions from architecture to detailed specification, interface and Pure Principle Scheme or Logical Diagram.
• For its function formulating a Low voltage and SW control design solution that fulfils the specified customer.
• Deliver Interface Control Document (ICD) for sub system participating in its function.
• Treatment of Change Request (CR) related to its function.
• Provide support for Supplier interface test or TC&IS verification tests on PC or TCMS Test Bench.
• Provide support during train integration, upon request.
• Provide support during train validation, upon request
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering2+ years of experience in similar role Rolling stock functional engineer experiences on its functionsExperience in electrical and schematic design activityExperience in electrical or electro-mechanical or automation (Programmable Logic Controller) engineering. Hands-on experience in design & development in developing in IEC61131-3 software or using model based development tools like Matlab / Simulink, Control Build etcKnowledge of network topologies and interfaces for Serial, Ethernet, MVB and other industrial communication network.Hands-on development experience of one or more software phases like software development, hardware-software integration etc, with minimum of 3 years’ experience.
