In this role you will get to conceptualize, design, determine methods and solutions for transportation planning and traffic operations that will make a difference now and in the future. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Working within a program to conceptualize and bring to fruition beneficial designs for transportation and traffic operations throughout project life cycles. + Ensuring the safe and efficient movement of people and goods on roadways, enhancing travel experience. + Analyze traffic patterns and design transportation improvements + Implement traffic control measures to optimize traffic flow and enhance road safety + Collect and analyze data on traffic volume, speed and any congestion to identify bottlenecks and make future traffic pattern predictions + Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. + Presenting designs to others **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation engineering from a recognized institution + Minimum 10+ postgraduate years of experience and a minimum of 5 years of major roads/transportation projects within the GCC + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential + Must possess knowledge of current technology and future trends and apply appropriate engineering software such as intelligent transportation systems (ITS),VISUM, VISSIM, Synchro, Sidra, HCS, EMME and CAD or transportation modeling. + Ability to train others **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Member of Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation or similar + PMP Certification + KSA Driving License Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
