Text "READY" to 81555 to download JobStack and get started today **Pay Rate:** _The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*_ **What you'll be doing as a Traffic Coordinator:** + Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed + Examines shipping bills to obtain description of freight and classifies freight according to rate description + Consults rate schedule to obtain specific rate for each item classified depending on distance shipped + Computes total freight charge and records charges on shipping order + Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for loading products + Annotates shipping orders to inform shipping department of loading location and time of arrival of transportation + Calculates and records storage, redelivery, and re-consignment charges when applicable + Answers inquiries from shippers regarding rates, routing, packing procedures and interline transportation procedures + Prepares and maintains records of freight movements including NAFTA documentation **Available shifts:** Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) **Job requirements:** + Compiles and computes freight rates and other charges for transportation services, according to rate tables and tariff regulations.
