**What you'll be doing as a** **Traffic Controller** **:**
+ Implementing Traffic Management Plans: Setting up and managing traffic control devices such as cones, signs, barricades, and flags according to predetermined plans
+ Directing Traffic: Using hand signals, flags, or other approved methods to guide the flow of vehicles and pedestrians
+ Monitoring Road Conditions and Traffic Flow: Constantly observing the area and adjusting traffic control measures as needed to ensure safety and efficiency
+ Communicating Effectively: Providing clear and concise instructions to drivers and pedestrians, and coordinating with construction crews, emergency services, and other personnel
+ Ensuring Safety Compliance: Adhering to relevant safety regulations and reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
**Job requirements:**
+ Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is critical for relaying instructions to a diverse range of individuals
+ Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously implement traffic plans, identify potential hazards, and monitor road conditions
+ Problem-Solving Skills: Quickly assessing situations and making decisions to maintain safety and traffic flow, such as adjusting to accidents or unexpected delays
+ Physical Stamina: Often required to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions
+ Patience and Calmness under Pressure: Handling impatient drivers and unpredictable situations while maintaining a professional demeanor
+ Relevant Certifications and Licenses: Often includes a valid driver's license and certifications in traffic control, such as those from the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA)
+ Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth traffic management
