Essential Functions:
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in highway construction projects; perform manual work in preparing equipment or vehicles for useConduct preventative maintenance as recommended on all equipmentMaintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazardsMaterial handling and storage and shop work as assignedSupport the daily maintenance of all vehicles (Maintain fluid levels, fuel level and tire pressure)Load and unload trucks; follow proper towing of trailer mounted equipmentDelivering material to job sitesEnsure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Notify Supervisor of any issues occur during work shiftRequired to stand for an extensive period of time (+8 hours)Wear Personal Protective Equipment required by federal, state, customer and company standards during work shiftAbility to communicate with customers clearly and in a professional mannerQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:
