Candidates for this position should have 5-8 years of prior work experience within US financial markets including Fixed Income. A compelling interest in the financial markets and excellent written and oral communication skills are expected. Job Responsibilities include:

Daily review of fixed income trading activity within Morgan Stanley Investment Solutions to ensure compliance with firm and industry standards Daily review of Fixed Income Fair Pricing exception reportsAct in accordance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirementsIdentify and report risk issues, including any compliance or suitability issuesAssist in the development of policies/procedures designed  to ensure compliance with all industry/regulatory requirementsMaintain close working relationships with risk staff to ensure appropriate resolution of all issues related to the fixed income businessesCoordinate with risk staff  to create reports necessary to monitor daily trade activity within Morgan Stanley Investment Solutions

Skillset Required for this role:Ability to analyze Fixed Income historical trade data, in terms of both market price and yield, to ensure compliance with firm and industry trade execution standardsOutstanding attention to detail and follow-upMaintain solid judgment while acting in accordance with all regulatory requirementsMust be a service oriented, team-player eager to assist colleagues and members of the department at all levelsSelf-motivated, innovative, hardworking individual, who can handle changing priorities and multiple tasks in a timely fashionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDiligent and meticulous individual with the ability to “think outside the box”Strong time management/prioritization skills and solid judgmentExceptional skills in Microsoft ExcelProficient in all Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of Bloomberg, Trace, EMMA, and other market pricing and valuation toolsKnowledge of FINRA, MSRB, SEC rules and regulations
