Job DescriptionWhat we’re looking for: World of Concrete, the largest annual international commercial concrete and masonry construction trade show, is currently seeking an Education Specialist to provide support in the production and management of a multimillion dollar education program with a focus on content development and operational excellence.
Role Accountability and Duties:
This position will focus on the development and implementation of Business Education Courses.
Contributes to content development by staying up to date with industry news relevant to the positionContributes to the overall success of the WOC Education program by delivering an exceptional experience for attendees, speakers preshow, onsite, and post-showAdheres to tight deadlines and takes a proactive approach to tasksProvides speaker coordination support including:
Relationship building with current and potential speakersCoordinating speaker proposal process and submissionsCollecting speaker bios, headshots and other necessary information for promotion and printCollecting, reviewing, and producing presentations and handoutsProvides Education planning, operations and marketing support that includes:
Input details into education management softwareUpdating session descriptions and details as neededReview print and digital marketing materials for accuracy and completionUpdate and improve production processesWork with speaker and internal staff to determine room sets, capacities and A/VApply and maintain CEU and accreditation through various education entities as requiredProvides onsite event production support that includes:
