Trade Show and Events Manager

About the Role

The Trade Show and Events Manager manages the execution and logistics of trade shows and events to achieve business objectives. Provides ongoing support to deliver an effective program of events for trade shows and events, including establishing program agenda, overall project/timeline management, venue and vendor selection, controlling budget, executing logistics, and conducting post-event measurement and follow-up.

Compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Develops and executes a 1-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager’s business plan. Plans, manages, and executes external events supporting the company’s business development goals and initiatives utilizing project management skills.Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, staffing, promotional items, collateral, bookings, and other details. Negotiates with vendors and service providers for best arrangements within budget.Serves as the point of contact and communicates information for tradeshows and events to key stakeholders. Supports all aspects of trade show logistics, including but not limited to ordering and shipping supplies and materials, communicating with trade show staff and third-party vendors, etc.Provides event support in the planning, organization, set up, and execution of various external events.Coordinates graphic, printing projects, and the fulfillment of promotional items and other collateral with the marketing team and vendors for use at shows and events.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus high school diploma or equivalentCertified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) certification desirable.

What You'll Need for Success

Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM.3-4 years of recent, applicable, hands-on events and marketing experience with demonstrated development, project management and execution skillsExceptional time, resource management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and act with urgency, as needed.Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
