About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Trade Services Associate as part of US Trade Services Standby Letters of Credit Team within Commercial Lending Operations Division. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.


In this role, you will:

Provide support in retention of existing clients and referral of international banking issues within trade servicesIssue, advise and direct collections in accordance with Trade Services standardsAmend letters of credit and process documentationIdentify opportunities for growth opportunity through client referralsReceive direction from leadership while developing understanding of trade services, policies, and proceduresProcess complex letters of credit documentationCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Trade Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Standby Letter of Credit experienceSound attention to detail and accuracy skillsCustomer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutionsSound organization, multitasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentIntermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skillsAbility to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find informationFast and accurate keying skillsCSCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) certification preferred
