Job Description
Position Summary:
As a Trade Planner you will report to our Trade Supervisor and will contribute within the supply chain organization who ensures compliance and internal procedures to all applicable customs regulations when we transact products, services and technology across borders, in or through bonded warehouses and free/foreign trade zones. Verify how information related to those transactions is processed, archived and reported to relevant governments and internally. Ensure legal compliance and provide logistics administration and control within government and corporate rules and regulations. Contribute to the practices of minimizing costs and productivity.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
Review documentation to de delivered to customs brokers before arrival.Attend classification differences and works with appropriate contacts to prevent delays in brokerage process.Provide tracking information and status of shipments under customs procedures.Attend customs authorities' requirements including import/export declaration corrections and legalizations.Prepare exports documentation.Measure timing and service levels of customs brokers with standard metrics and Goals.Validate records are maintained by RA and any RA approved 3rd party off-site storage vendors.On base / Shopping cart / Softway approvals of invoices sent by customs brokers.Ensure that SOPs describe the current operational state. Update and coordinates with appropriate contacts.Respond to import-export requests and participate in department projects as assigned.Skills:
