This position’s scope is to positively influence consumer purchase behavior by supporting the Senior Trade Marketing Manager to drive physical and mental availability of our brands in eCommerce.
The role encompasses the responsibility for the full local translation of Brand Strategies into compelling channel strategies for eCom customers with the support of the Senior Trade Marketing Manager.
What You Can Expect
The Trade Marketing Specialist Digital Shelf and eCom is responsible for managing all eCommerce content, including the digital shelf, brand shops and Amazon campaigns. Additionally, the role supports the development and execution of the Amazon Online Retail Media Strategy and the annual set-up of optimal consumer & customer targets for the eCom by brand in collaboration with Brand Marketing, Sales team and other Marketing functions.
This position is responsible for managing and updating the Product Information Management system (PIM) for Germany and maximizes the use of assets from the B-F Global content management system (BAR+) in order to ensure best-in-class content and high quality assets on e-commerce sites and for retail and other external partners.
The Trade Marketing Specialist Digital Shelf & eCom aligns with the Brand Marketing team on paid search campaigns in the relevant eCommerce environment (mainly Amazon), by translating the overall Brand Management strategy into the eCom channel. They support the agency in the strategic planning and evaluation.
Collaboration with the Market Category Consumer Insights (MCCI) team and Sales team to gain more eCom facts, understanding and consequently insights (e.g. via tests, studies, analysis etc.)
Be the key point of contact for internal & external agency collaborations for our Retail Media agency, content production and eCom Digital Shelf tools.
Planning and coordinating the A&P budgets for the respective ecom-projects including online retail media.
What You Bring to the Table
Close collaboration with the German Marketing Team, German Sales Team and international counterparts as well as external agencies to ensure high quality content in accordance with the marketing and sales strategy.
First expertise of project management with a high degree of organization and a good understanding of prioritization and time management
Reliable teamplayer with strong interpersonal communication skills who works in a respectful and inclusive manner
The right mix between dedication and pursuit of excellence and understanding for urgency and problem solving
First agency management experience of Retail Media & Creative Agencies - Global and local
Solid understanding of retail media KPIs and strategic planning, leveraging data and analytics
Fluency in German and strong English capabilities
What Makes You Unique
Education: Undergraduate Degree.
Recent graduates will be considered - or ideally 2+ years working client and/ or agency side in media and marketing disciplines.
Evidence of project management experience within a marketing or communications environment.
Experience in holding project management roles and organizing groups or teams is an important background for this role within or outside the communications field.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Certifications: Broad based business education such as Business Degree or MBA or specific educational qualifications in areas such as information technology.
Experience:
Ideally the candidate will have communications experience gained at a client or agency.
Experience in working in the e-commerce or media related field.
