Trade Marketing Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Trade Marketing Specialist to lead and implement innovative trade marketing strategies and promotional plans across retail, on-premise, and e-commerce channels. This role ensures alignment with brand and sales objectives, driving engagement and sales growth through effective trade campaigns.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and manage point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and trade collateral to enhance retailer and distributor engagement.
+ Plan and execute seasonal and evergreen trade campaigns, including events, tastings, activations, and shopper marketing programs.
+ Partner closely with sales, distributor, and retail teams to strengthen joint business planning and ensure effective in-market execution.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and distributor partners, acting as a strategic resource to support sales growth.
+ Ensure consistent brand representation and compliance with brand standards across all trade activities.
+ Manage budgets for trade marketing projects, including materials production, activation costs, and event execution.
+ Track and analyze program effectiveness, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
+ Identify new merchandising and promotional opportunities within key accounts and emerging channels.
+ Collaborate with internal creative, digital, and marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns that resonate with trade and consumers.
+ Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and strengthen brand positioning.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between marketing, sales, and operations.
+ Support legal and compliance requirements for promotions and consumer-facing initiatives.
+ Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing programs and provide performance reports and insights.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field required; 6–10 years strongly preferred, ideally within wine, spirits, or consumer packaged goods.
+ Strong knowledge of retail and on-premise environments.
+ Proven success managing trade campaigns, POS, and distributor/retailer partnerships.
+ Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
+ Analytical and results-driven mindset.
+ Passion for the wine industry, branding, and consumer engagement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with marketing communications and Adobe Creative Suite.
+ Strong marketing strategy skills.
Work Environment
This role is based on-site, working closely with a team of five within the marketing department in a company of 150 employees. The environment encourages growth, initiative, and collaboration with other amazing clients.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in New Rochelle,NY.
