You will interrogate market data to provide brand and retailer insights to strengthen brand position with each major retailer and trade channel
Demonstrate ownership and proactivity in interrogating market dataData or insights e.g. U&A and other studies: review these e.g. bring up from these studies to use in shopper marketing etcStrong capabilities in using Circana, analyzing the data to drive insights and actions, taking the ownership to upskill, reach out to Circana for training and embed into the platform.Output from Circana and category level insightsProactively share insights from Bridgethorne EPOS platform to identify opportunities or insights from trade activity e.g. promotions or in store activityShopper Marketing:Embed into the DRL team, attending the Paddington office minimum one day a week.High quality of instore shopper activity, working closely with Ceuta sales teams, aligned with DRL marketing, not missing deadlinesOrganisation, and ownership of the Shopper marketing calendar and plan: ownership, prioritization, attention to detail and organisation.Fully aware of key deadlines and lead times for the different retailers calendars e.g. what are deadlines/ lead times for proposal submissions. Submit assets for Stoptober (we have a calendar)Clarity and knowledge of what is in the plan, what has been submitted to retailers, and what has been approved.Ability to communicate and proactively drive plans cross functionally to ensure we deliver high quality, timely shopper marketing activity.Strategic thinking – including longer term thinkingBudget and Plan ownership: review, identify opportunities to improve and develop.Bringing new ideas, competitor insights and ways to be best in class Career Experience• Relevant and recent Trade Marketing experience in consumer packaged goods is essential and knowledge of grocery and or/pharmacy trade sectors is preferred• Experience with Health & Beauty / OTC / Licensed medicines is preferred• Working knowledge/experience of highly regulated markets is preferredQualifications• Degree level• Good standard of general education including Maths and English Required Skills• Working knowledge of commercial and financial principles in order to forecast effectively, produce robust marketing plans and client presentations.• The ability to use Excel to an intermediate level in order to analyse data, gather insight and produce financial reports for the client.• The ability to use PowerPoint to an intermediate level in order to create engaging and professional presentations for the client and sales team.• The ability to use Word to intermediate level in order to produce minute of client meetings and letters to the trade.• The ability to utilise the company’s sales database in order to draw out information for reports and presentations.• The ability to communicate highly effectively with colleagues, client and agency contacts up to Director level.• The ability to use initiative and work autonomously in order to manage your own responsibilities.• Attention to detail to ensure that work is completed accurately and professionally.IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
