Job Description
Position summary:
A Trade Logistics Coordinator is an individual contributor within the supply chain organization who ensures compliance and internal procedures to all applicable customs regulations when we transact products, services and technology across borders, in or through bonded warehouses and free/foreign trade zones. Instruct how information related to those transactions is processed, archived and reported to relevant governments and internally. Ensure legal compliance and provide logistics administration and control within government and corporate rules and regulations. Contribute to the practices of minimizing costs and productivity.
You will report to our Logistics Supervisor in the RA-DR Plant.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
1- Attend classification differences and works with appropriate contacts to prevent delays in brokerage process.
2- Provides tracking information and status of shipments under customs procedures.
3- Monitoring of tariff classification requests by the broker and their correct use, according to the SOP.
4- support for export declarations and handling of shipping documents.
5- Monitoring transit times and managing transport suppliers and customs.
6- Ensure record keeping of the receiving and shipping areas.
7- Document management support for shipments, shopping carts, custom shipments, STOs, and Pos.
8- Maintain updated shipment arrival information for the shipping master (DT Tracker).
9- Monitoring the customs processes carried out by the customs agent, ensuring compliance with the defined SOP.
Experience and Education:
1- Graduate or student completing a degree in International Commerce, or any Economical Sciences.
2- Intermediate level of English (70%).
3- Complementary courses in logistics, supply chain or related (preferable).
4- Advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
5- 1 to 3 Years of Experience in Logistics & Customs Clearance process.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
1- Basic course on customs techniques - CAPGEFI.
