Trade Lifecycle Analyst

As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within the Global Clearing Operations team, you will be responsible for reconciling traders’ position and risk for exchange traded instruments in their risk management system vs the back end system. This is achieved by reconciling the entire structure - from instrument setup and trade booking to the daily overall position, while also ensuring that the profit and loss reported in the risk system aligns with the P&L in GMI. You will be involved in other core functions such as the settlement of a daily variation margin and initial margin, funding and Nostro reconciliation, new account set up and DOCS management. In addition to new product onboarding, system enhancement planning and UAT support. The area is constantly evolving and scope is expanding due to various regulatory changes, consequently there are numerous opportunities for you to be involved in ad-hoc projects and the House Strategic Agenda

Job responsibilities

Ensure timely completion of Trade, Position and P&L reconciliations, with prompt delivery of reconciliation details to the relevant middle offices, Product controllers and brokersWork closely with key stakeholders to manage and coordinate all new product, entity, trading book and desk set upsExecute daily, weekly and monthly tasks covering: reconciliations, margin movements and control, global house metrics, oversight and impact monitoring of trade events including option expiries & physical deliveriesWork closely with the Controls team to deliver on the controls agendaContribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements, utilizing knowledge of automation technologies to enhance efficiencyParticipate in projects related to trade lifecycle operations, assisting in the planning and execution stages to meet set objectivesAdhere to tight deadlines by effectively organizing and prioritizing work, while applying a strong logical and analytical mindset to think outside the box and challenge the status quo

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Understanding of the Futures and Options products Detail oriented with excellent numerical/analytical skillsStrong problem solving abilitiesWorks well under pressure and has the ability to multi taskTeam player who enjoys working in a fast paced, highly controlled environment and not afraid to commit and take on responsibilityShifts coverage: in the range from 8AM to 6PM
